Leading and Directing Your Tribe Members to Build A Kingdom
Brad, as someone who has been a tribe leader for many years is highly motivated to be a great man. This is because he believes that if he is serving and worshiping a great God, then he must also be an epitome of greatness, that he must also be a living manifestation of God’s greatness. This is the only way for him to emulate the greatness and excellence of God.
Just like when we idolize someone, maybe a singer or an artist. We try our best to be just like them, imitating the way they dress, the way they speak, and the way they act. That’s the same things we must do with our relationship with Jesus.
Everyone in this world deserves to know the truth and nothing but the truth. This is the transparency that Brad strives to model every day. In dealing with people, it is essential for us to be truthful, honest, and authentic. If we don’t live in our integrity or cover up our mistakes, it will affect us and our relationship with people around us.
At some point in our lives, we’ve been a victim of someone who lied to us and we know how it feels. If we know it, we should not be doing it at any sense and at any cost. Once we violate the truth, then we also destroy the trust of the people around us.
Brad also shares that the ability to influence people to join us in building the kingdom, in building our tribe, lies within us. The moment we start believing in ourselves, in believing in what people around us can do, then we radiate the energy of confidence and security to people. They feel that they are capable of accomplishing their goals, they could believe they can accomplish what used to feel out of reach. But if they see us as an incompetent and ineffective leader, then they will not join you in your vision.

Brad Lomenick is Executive Director and key Visionary of Catalyst, a movement of young leaders. Over the last 15 years, he has built a reputation as a key networker and convener of leaders. Prior to running Catalyst, Brad was involved in the growth of the nationally acclaimed Life@Work Magazine and did management consulting with Cornerstone Group. More recently, he has served in a number of roles for INJOY and now GiANT Impact. For several years after college, he rode horses for a living on a ranch in Colorado, and was even struck by lightning while installing a barbed wire fence, which some believe has given him powers equal to several of the Super Heroes. He hopes maybe someday he can be a professional golfer, or have his own hunting show.
