The guest for today’s podcast episode has been an inspiration to a lot of people because of his ability to produce talks and speeches which are not only intellectually-rooted but are also motivating. He is Biagio Sciacca or also known as Bill to his friends. He also manages to run businesses which he is passionate about, and with all of those, he leads to be humble and inspiring to the best of his capacity. Indeed, this article is something that we can learn a lot from. With his background of philosophy and economics, the combined system of these branches of knowledge had made him as the person that he is right now.
“You cannot go through life resenting anybody or anything.” – Bill
As a professional and as an individual, Bill had gone through a lot of hatred moments in his life, He hated almost everyone starting from his business partner, down to his family. Of course, such hatred sprung from unfortunate circumstances. But despite the pain he had, he chose to forgive. He emphasized that forgiving those who wronged you is not about them being free of the guilt; it is about you being free of the worries and pain. In achieving worthwhile goals, he reiterated that it would be tough to move forward and carry on the journey if there is a hatred that makes you feel heavy. Unload and forgive, at the best of your capacity.
“When you ask others to dictate your future for you, you become a victim.” – Bill
As an individual, we have to be continuously in-control of our lives. We need to be in0charged! We should not be maneuvered or controlled by other people. Because as what Bill has said, allowing other people to control our lives will only make us as a victim for they would surely work towards their own and personal benefit and advantage. In reaching our goals, we need to be the one to drive the journey, not anyone else.
“We have to make goals as a habit, something persistent.” – Bill
One of the things that Bill also made clear of is the idea of making goals as habits. It means that day in and day out; we should make it appoint that all things that we do are geared towards the realization of our dreams. We do not have to think about it now and then and plan for it because it is already in our system and it is already something automatic for us. Thus, making our goals as a habit will ensure a much higher rate of fulfillment and realization.
With all that being said, Bill has proven himself worthy of recognition. Not only for his contribution to the field of business but for the immense growth he had gone through because of life circumstances. In the end, it is not a matter of the tough situation, it is a matter of the result, and that is the realized goals.
In this article, you will learn about:
• Forgiving other people who might have had hurt you
• Learning to identify what are worthwhile goals and what is not
• Creating a harmonious relationship between yourself and your higher perspective of life
• Developing worthwhile habits and doing things to accomplish it
• Creating a much better lifestyle in the long-run, guided by the worthwhile habits
