“We are looking at the cultural experience that people have.”
– Jessica Stollings
Once we’ve taken into consideration the cultural differences that we have, that is the only time that we can accept and embrace each other, regardless of the generational differences. At times, we are caught in the world where we let our culture get in the middle of us. As a result, we fail to connect with people. We tend to isolate ourselves, thinking that it is what makes us solely happy. As what Jessica emphasized, only through a connection that we are truly and genuinely happy.
“When we understand another, we combine our differences.”
– Jessica Stollings
Embracing our differences will happen when we understand each other. Jessica reiterated that understanding means knowing a person on a personal level. It means that there should be an exchange of stories and experiences. When we are open to sharing our stories, and when we are open to listening to others, then we become a catalyst for solving the generational gap.
“This has to be a better world for this generation.” – Jessica Stollings

This is not for the sole purpose of making our lives better, but for the purpose of preparing a better future for the younger and soon to be born generation.
