Shae Bynes, founder of Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur, leads us in prayer concerning working by the power of God’s grace in business.
Our Heavenly Father, Abba, has invited each of us to do business completely yielded and in partnership with Him. We have been invited by Jesus to follow His example, to abide in Him and to allow His words to abide in us, to work in His rest. We have been invited by the Holy Spirit to be led and guided into all truth and operate in God’s power.
A life-changing scripture for Shae is in Matthew 11:28-30. In “The Message” translation, it says (and these are Jesus’s words):
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I will never lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
That’s the invitation available to us and I encourage you to say YES to it!
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we thank you for who you are. You are absolutely amazing! There is none like you.
We thank you for your enabling and empowering grace that helps us to be all that you have called us to be and do all that you have called us to do. We thank you, Father, for putting inside of us the will to hunger and thirst for Your righteousness daily.
We thank you for showing us the unforced rhythms and rest found in Your grace. Thank you for the ability to abide in You as we work. Thank you for Your favor that goes before us, that surrounds us daily as we work diligently in faith and obedience to Your way and to Your word.
Thank you for making each of us a solution on the earth and for empowering us to reveal Your glory to the world around us. May You be glorified in everything that we do. It is in Jesus Christ’s name that we do pray. Amen.

Shae has been married to her husband Phil for 20 years and is mom to three beautiful daughters, ranging from toddler to college student. She has a healthy addiction to sunshine and water and calls the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area her home.
