Every married couple should do whatever it takes to make their marriage work. Marriage is a union of two people.God designed marriage as a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman for their mutual joy, the good of society, and the procreation of children.

Ted have summarized core four habits for great marriage. They go in order from having serious fun, love God first, love and respect and practice your promise. Ted believes that by following these four habits, all married couple can have a happy and great marriage.

Ted thinks that humor and fun opens the heart to deeper things. Couples should both participate in looking for things that can make them happy. It does not need a big amount of money to have fun, small simple things makes the heart happy and content. It is true that, married couple can’t avoid conflicts and misunderstandings but Ted said that, “Sometimes take a break from talking about staffs. Don’t bring your issues to date night, just bring each other”.

Most of the time, couples spend a lot of time and money in preparation for the wedding but it is important to remember that marriage is not only for a day, it is not only about the big day. Married couples will be married everyday of their lives and it is important to always keep in mind and practice the promises couples made to each other.

Ted Lowe is the director of MarriedPeople, the Marriage Division of Orange. Their mission is to help churches help marriages. He love training and resourcing churches to create proactive marriage ministries (instead of waiting until couples are banging on the door on the verge of divorce. It just seems smarter that way.). Through MarriedPeople churches all over the country are putting a strategy into place that gives couples less content more often. It’s great stuff.

Ted Lowe is married to Nancie Hoblitzell Lowe since 1995. They have three busy kids who they serve as Uber drivers and sometimes parents. Ted is a speaker, blogger, and the director of MarriedPeople, the marriage division at The reThink Group (also known as Orange), a non-profit organization devoted to influencing those who influence the next generation. Before working at Orange he worked as the Director of MarriedLife at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Before that he worked at Saddleback Community Church as a youth pastor, as well as on the drama team.He graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary, in Pasadena, California.
