Finding Hope When Things Are Spinning Out of Control
Natalie Jones is the founder and president of Parent Compass, a Christian life and family show that offers the hope today’s mom and dads need.
When Natalie was two years old, her parents got divorced. She grew up splitting up her time between living with her mother and staying at her father’s house. It was a difficult, painful, and miserable childhood.
At ten years old, she came across a storybook Bible which she devoured and took to heart. After asking Jesus into her heart, she felt love, peace, and joy beyond comprehension. Despite all the problems around her, even at such a young age, she was okay because she had Jesus Christ to guide her. This propelled and guided her to start Parent Compass.

Natalie stared with a prayer email and a prayer group that met once a month. She and her group prayed for 2 years. The Lord then divinely gave them a $150,000 grant to start Season 1 of the Parent Compass. Generous donors added more to the fund. Then, the Lord gave them a producer who had 20 years of experience putting together television programs. He happened to be an ordained minister from 25 years back. All that was more than just pure luck and coincidence.
They also prayed for help in writing the show’s episodes. Natalie was willing to do the research and present the lessons in a teaching format, which would have been quite boring, she thought. But she realized that with the true stories around her, God had already “written” the show’s contents.
On top of all that, the show won two Telly Awards, which is the secular award judged by the industry as the finest in film and video.
God is three-in-one: Perfect Father, Ultimate Counselor, and Everlasting Comforter. But most of the time, we don’t reach out to Him. – Natalie Jones

Natalie Jones is Founder & President of Parent Compass, Christian Life & Family Show. Transformed by meeting Christ at age 10, Natalie found love, peace and joy amidst misery in childhood with yelling and screaming, food stamps and her mother divorced twice. She wants nothing more than for others to know joy found in Jesus! She is married to her husband, Neil, and enjoys time with their four sons and one daughter.
She knows that this one-of-a-kind series offers the hope today’s mom and dads need. “Parents feeling overwhelmed and isolated now have true stories of God’s peace amidst endless difficulties,” she said.
