Making decisions, targets, goals, whatever it may be will always depend on the training of our brain. Darryl shared how he started to train his mind in creating decisions relative to financial matters and the world of business at an early age. Once the brain is taught, all that goes after it will fall entirely into their proper place.

There are times that as individual, we plan everything for ourselves. We love to iron everything, starting from the simple matters down to the most complicated matters. But as we take a closer look at it, we can realize that there will always be someone who is in-charged of everything. If God wants us to take a turn instead of the straight path that we’ve planned before, then, by all means, we must do it. The flexibility that we have will be the one to bring us towards success.

What kind of legacy would we want to leave to those people whom we meet along the way? Are we going to be inspiring? Or the total opposite of it? Regardless it may be, we must do everything that we can to change our ways and be sure to make a good impact on every people we meet. In the end, it is about the inspiration and the growth that we were able to give that matters a lot to other people.

Darryl Lyons is the Co-Founder and CEO of PAX Financial Group. He has been a licensed professional in the financial services industry since 1999, winning multiple awards for recruitment and development from Fortune 100 companies. Darryl is also the co-founder of the radio show Financial Mythbusters and the author of Small Business, Big Pressure.
Darryl was named as a “40 Under 40 Rising Star” by the San Antonio Business Journal, which honors people making a difference in business and the community. Darryl has also served as the Chairman for Brooks Development Authority in San Antonio, Texas. Shortly after his service, Mayor Julian Castro, named a park in honor of his service. Darryl has a BBA Corporate Financial Management and Accounting from St. Mary’s University. He and his wife, Caresse, live with their four children in San Antonio, Texas.
